Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Financial Freedom App web and mobile application (the "Service"), operated by Financial Freedom App, an outreach ministry of The Worship Center Christian Church ("we," "our," or "us"). By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or otherwise accessing the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and purchase a subscription. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are using the Service on behalf of a family unit, the account holder must be at least 18 years of age and is responsible for all activity under the account, including activity by any family members granted access.

2. Account Registration

You must create an account to access most features of the Service. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.

3. Subscription Plans and Billing

3.1 Subscription Tiers

The Service is offered on a subscription basis. We offer multiple subscription tiers (including Standard, Premium, and Family plans) billed on a monthly or annual basis. Current pricing is displayed on our Pricing page and is subject to change with advance notice.

3.2 Automatic Renewal

All subscription plans automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) unless you cancel before the renewal date. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on file for the applicable subscription fee at the start of each renewal period. You will receive a reminder email before any annual renewal.

3.3 Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. By providing your payment information, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers. In the event of a failed payment, we will attempt to notify you and may suspend access to premium features until payment is resolved.

3.4 Taxes

Subscription fees are exclusive of any applicable sales, use, value-added, or similar taxes. Where required by law, applicable taxes will be added to your invoice and collected at checkout.

4. Digital Content and Downloads

4.1 License to Digital Content

Upon purchase of a subscription or individual digital content item, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and download the content for your personal, non-commercial use. This license does not include the right to resell, redistribute, sublicense, publicly display, or create derivative works from any content without our express written permission.

4.2 Access to Downloadable Content

Downloadable content (including financial worksheets, budget templates, guides, and educational materials) is made available to active subscribers. Access to downloadable content may be revoked if your subscription lapses, is cancelled, or your account is terminated for violation of these Terms. We recommend downloading any content you wish to retain before cancelling your subscription.

4.3 No Resale

You may not resell, share login credentials, or otherwise provide access to the Service or its digital content to third parties outside of the family plan allowances described in your subscription tier.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

5.1 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Billing section of your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to the Service through the end of the period for which you have already paid. We do not prorate refunds for partial billing periods.

5.2 Refunds for Subscriptions

Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable once the billing period has begun. For annual subscriptions, you may request a refund within fourteen (14) days of your initial purchase or annual renewal if you have not materially used the Service during that period. Refund requests must be submitted to [email protected] with your account email and order reference number.

5.3 Refunds for Digital Downloads

Due to the nature of digital content, individual digital downloads are non-refundable once the content has been accessed or downloaded. If you experience a technical issue preventing access to purchased content, please contact us and we will make every reasonable effort to resolve the issue or provide a replacement.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation;
• Upload or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service or its related systems;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service;
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access or extract data from the Service without our express written permission;
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or its servers; or
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms.

7. Financial Information Disclaimer

The Financial Freedom App Service provides educational content, budgeting tools, and AI-powered coaching features for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing in the Service constitutes professional financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. We are not a registered investment advisor, broker-dealer, or financial planner. You should consult a qualified financial professional before making any financial decisions. We make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any financial information provided through the Service.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, audio clips, video clips, digital downloads, and software — are owned by Financial Freedom App or its licensors and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The Financial Freedom App name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of Financial Freedom App. You may not use our trademarks without our prior written consent.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services including Plaid (bank connectivity) and Stripe (payment processing). Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third-party terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of any third-party service. You may disconnect third-party integrations at any time through your account settings.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, FINANCIAL FREEDOM APP AND THE WORSHIP CENTER CHRISTIAN CHURCH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be submitted to informal negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within thirty (30) days, it shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. You waive any right to participate in a class-action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a prominent notice on the Service at least fourteen (14) days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must cancel your subscription and stop using the Service before the effective date.
